Has Internet ruined journalism?

Scoopinion helps people to read better stories online.

Internet and social media challenges traditional media to change the ways they provide us something to read. People complain that instead of good content they get short, easily digestible texts about shocking news, and headlines that are only made so that you get tempted to click them.

Ville Sundberg and Mikko “Kobra” Koskinen, guys behind Scoopinion, want people to find better articles to read. They also want to help journalists to create better stories. Can they improve our media diet?

Looking for something new to read?

Scoopinion is a crowdsourcing movement that makes it easer.

Instead of focusing to clicks, shares or likes, Scoopinion analyzes what you spend the most time reading. It takes your reading data and analyzes it, finds other users with similar interests and recommends new stories to you. Scoopinion also helps journalists to focus on quality of their stories instead of how many clicks their stories headlines get.
